Vivificat's Catholic Media Ministries Mission Statement
To comment on every branch of human knowledge and
current events from a personal Catholic Christian perspective; to imbue our surroundings
with a Christian worldview through a living witness in word, thought,
and deed and thus, be Christ's helpers in giving life (vivificat)
to the world and becoming the salt of the earth.
Blog's Vision Statement
I envision Vivificat becoming one of the most
recognized blogs in the Catholic blogosphere and a mandatory stop for
religious or philosophical surfers everywhere because of its graphics
interface, ease of navigation, and solid Catholic contents.
Canonical Standing
Many times during the course of this ongoing
publication, situations arise in which I feel strongly the need to speak
out regarding the good of the local and universal Church. In order to
allay any possible confusion regarding my personal standing to make my
wishes known to our Pastors concerning the good of the Church, I wish to
state that my right to do so rests on Canon 212, ss3, of the 1983 Code
of Canon Law:
[Christ's faithful] have
the right, indeed at times the duty, in keeping with their
knowledge, competence and position, to manifest to the sacred
Pastors their views on matters which concern the good of the Church.
They have the right also to make their views known to others of
Christ's faithful, but in doing so they must always respect the
integrity of faith and morals, show due reverence to the Pastors and
take into account both the common good and the dignity of
individuals.
As a Catholic blogger, I base my right to speak out on
this canon, and hereby pledge to follow its accompanying responsibility

Estatuto Misionero de ¡Vivificat!
Comentar acerca de todo lo que concierna el
conocimiento humano y del acontecer cotidiano desde una perspectiva
cristiana católica personal; saturar nuestro entorno con una cosmovisión
cristiana mediante un testimonio vivo en palabra, pensamiento y obra,
convirtiéndonos así en ayudantes de Cristo en la tarea de vivificar al mundo y ser
sal de la tierra.
Visión
Quiero que Vivificat se convierta en uno de los
blogs más reconocidos en la blogosfera católica y un recurso mandatorio
para internautas interesados en materias religiosas o filosóficas,
atraídos a Vivificat por su fachada atractiva, facilidad de
navegación y contenido sólido.
Justificación Canónica
Frecuentemente durante el curso de esta publicación,
me encuentro con situaciones que me mueven a hablar acerca del bien de
la Iglesia local y universal. Quiero aclarar toda confusión que pueda
surgir respecto a mi status para hacer saber mis deseos a nuestros
pastores en materias relativas al bienestar de la Iglesia, deseo afirmar
que mi derecho de ejercer mi palabra se basa en el Canon 212, ss3, del
Código de Derecho Canónico:
212 § 1. Los fieles, conscientes
de su propia responsabilidad, están obligados a seguir, por
obediencia cristiana, todo aquello que los Pastores sagrados, en
cuanto representantes de Cristo, declaran como maestros de la fe o
establecen como rectores de la Iglesia.
§ 2. Los fieles tienen derecho a
manifestar a los Pastores de la Iglesia sus necesidades,
principalmente las espirituales, y sus deseos.
§ 3. Tienen el derecho, y a veces
incluso el deber, en razón de su propio conocimiento, competencia y
prestigio, de manifestar a los Pastores sagrados su opinión sobre
aquello que pertenece al bien de la Iglesia y de manifestar a los
demás fieles, salvando siempre la integridad de la fe y de las
costumbres, la reverencia hacia los Pastores y habida cuenta de la
utilidad común y de la dignidad de las personas.
Como bitacorista católico, me propongo a ejercer este
derecho sin intención de abdicarlo, junto con sus responsabilidades
acompañantes, ejerciéndolo de acuerdo a las luces que el Espíritu Santo
me conceda.
